With the Wasatch Back being almost one month away (to be exact, one month and two days), I decided to get in some hill work.  As a result, a beautiful and warm Sunday afternoon, I headed out through Big Cottonwood Park and up to the neighbors to Oakridge Elementary.  It was a tough climb and my legs were feeling a little bit heavy.  I glided back down (knocking out one mile at marathon pace) for a total distance of 10.6 miles at an average pace of 8:23 minutes per mile.

Finally, for my non-running workout, I was able to complete 300 sit-ups, 30 push-ups, and 10 metronomes.

What leg are you running? I'm running leg #12.

haven't heard from you lately...

Thanks for keeping up with my blog Burt and KP. I'm sorry I have been slacking on the updates; that is, with studying for my upcoming CFA exam (June 5th), I have been keeping up the miles and posting them in my personal training log, but I have just been lacking on the time to post them to FRB. However, I have a free 30 minutes, so I'm going to get myself caught up. Thanks again!

Burt, it was tough lose by your Suns last night. Hopefully, they can force a game 7. Also, for the Wasatch Back, I was Runner #9, but one of our runners broke his ankle playing soccer. So I ended up switching legs and vans. Now I’m Runner #3. Last night at the Team Captain's meeting, they said there are 1024 teams officially registered. Also, we just got our start times today. I'm with team Shoulda Bought Puts (starting a 9:30 am), what team are you on? Are you running with fellow bloggers? I know you ran the Del Sol with a team of bloggers, so is this your first attempt at the Wasatch Back? Since you are the anchor runner, maybe I'll see you running into the exchanges at Earl's Lodge, the Oakley Rodeo Grounds, or The Canyons.

I'm on Running 4 Nie. I'm not running with any bloggers. Just a group of us that knew Nie. She was on one of my Ragnar teams before the accident. This will be my second Wasatch Back.

Yes, I totally know of team Running 4 Nie (I saw the story on the news and they had an exceptional YouTube video last year). Oh yes, there is that AZ connection. Best of luck and maybe I'll run into you and your team during the Wasatch Back (we can talk about how much we dislike the Lakers).
