It was absolutely a recovery day for me after a weekend of two solid runs.  Consequently, I went out for a late evening run that involved running around my neighborhood and over to Big Cottonwood Park where I completed seven laps around the softball complex before heading home.  The total distance of this run was 4.4 miles at an easy pace.

In regard to my non-running workout, I completed 300 sit-ups and 30 push-ups.

Nice week so far---great Sunday run! Take care of those feet!! We had a long discussion at the gym today about minimalist shoes (or no shoes). We have a few women running barefoot on the treadmill, which I love, but only do at home!

Thanks Kelli! It seems like the minimalist-shoe/no-shoe craze is going around. By the way, you are really stepping up the miles this year!!! According to my calculations you are averaging 8.8 miles per day; this is including Sundays, which I know you don't run on. Needless to say, very impressive and motivating! Keep it up and your 2010 miles goal is going to go down quickly. You and Scott are going to rock Boston!!!

Thanks goodness I take Sundays off, otherwise I would have keeled over and died by now. I am spent right now!
