I was feeling a little bit under the weather today; therefore, I headed home and took a long nap before heading out for a late evening run.  For this run, I jogged up to the Smith-Kiln Chimney and around the Brickyard Shopping Plaza and back.  The total distance of this run was 4.2 miles and I felt better afterwards (i.e., it was great to get some fresh air)!

For my non-running workout, I was able to complete my typical 300 sit-ups and 30 push-ups.

Last week I didn’t feel real great myself. I went into our conference room at lunch to “rest my eyes” for just a minute. An hour and a half later I stumbled out of there. I’d been sleeping on that cold, hard, nasty, concrete room floor. Yuck! My boss told me to go home and get some rest. I was actually “under the weather” and didn’t run though :)

I thought you were just joking about that KP. Haha! Er, uh, I mean, get well soon.

Oh no. I was telling the truth. She also told me to stay home Friday if I felt sick. I was still "under the weather" that day too. It was a beautiful day and I felt great... so I went for a run with my friends two dogs. One tripped me and I took a nasty, bloody fall. KARMA. Darn.

What an experience and I hope you are feeling better Kristen! I have discovered that going for a light run when I'm sick sometimes makes me feel better; however, my colds usually linger for a week or so, so it's probably better just to get a lot of sleep.
