For the second day in a row, I arrived at work an hour early in order to get in my run on the treadmill.  I accomplished another 10k today with a much faster pace than yesterday (i.e., 8:02; fastest pace since Saturday).

My daily non-running workout consisted of just another day of 300 sit-ups.

Hi Rossy,

I noticed that you often break your workout into more than one session. Until latly (since i injured my knee) I had this mental mindset that when I started running (no matter what the time or distance) I should not stop for anything! I have been running with that mindset for a year now (as long as I've been running). Can you give my your thoughts on that...? I really am new to running and don't know much about the technical aspect of it.

Thanks,

IJR

Yes, I'd like to know, too. I'm old to running and still haven't learned diddly squat.

Hey Burt and Preston! Great question Preston and the reason I'm running more than once a day is just to get in my miles around my work schedule. With an injury (or healthy), I think it would be better to run once a day so you have more time to recover. Also, when I run twice a day, I always write it off as good Ragnar training. By the way Burt, will you be heading north again to run this year's Wasatch Back?

I was invited to join a team, but I think I'm going to pass. Unless I win the lottery. And I don't play the lottery, so that ain't happening.
